The wheatgrass process
Wheatgrass juice starts off as germinated wheat seeds. The wheatgrass cultivation period lasts for a few days and cultivation takes place with just water and heat (hydroponics), so no nutrients or the like. The grass is cut as soon as it is long enough. The grass must always be fresh because of its limited shelf life (24 hours). It will subsequently go into the slowjuicer and is immediately frozen to retain all the nutrients.
